The path to greatness is often lined with unexpected opportunities, and my journey to the Volcano Summit 2024 in Guatemala was no exception.
As I traveled to this incredible event, I was honored to be invited as a speaker for a series of 4 workshops, joining over 2,500 people from 40 countries.
Each day brought new insights, new connections, and new opportunities to inspire and be inspired.
I was especially grateful for the invitation to speak at a private event sponsored by Banco Industrial Guatemala at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.
Here, I shared insights with entrepreneurs from the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, YPO and students from business and technology programs.
A personal highlight was a private tour I received from President Roberto Moreno—seeing the incredible work being done to educate future innovators left a lasting impression on me.
I also had the privilege of attending a VIP event about identity and self-actualization with Las Vegas Trelais Tech House residents Carie Bailey and Kristin Van Wey exploring how we as entrepreneurs can lead with authenticity.
Sharing the stage with Lara Stein, founder of TEDX, and conducting certification workshops for Génesis Empresarial and the broader Volcano Summit audience were empowering experiences.
The support of the Vjal Institute and their transformative advice on AI has been a key driver for me to return to business with renewed purpose.
A special thanks to Fabiana C. and the Volcano Summit team for allowing me to transform her into an AI digital twin during my keynote speech—I was so impressed by how brilliantly she organized this amazing event, and showcasing her transformation was an exciting moment for us all.
My 9 days in Guatemala were nothing short of transformative.
I was able to explore Antigua, share use cases of artificial intelligence, and discuss how Christlike leadership helps entrepreneurs apply AI to create social good.
Staying at the The Good Hotel, where every night funds a week of education for a child, was a beautiful reminder of how business can drive positive impact.
Attending church in Guatemala and feeling the deep spiritual presence of Jesus Christ was a humbling experience.
I’m also grateful for delicious vegan food and wonderful company of good friends who made this trip even more memorable.
The organizers of Volcano Summit did an extraordinary job, creating an environment that fostered innovation and connection.
Being a part of this community allowed me to share with Dr. Stephen Sideroff how we can empower the next generation.
I am inspired by the global audience and powerful ideas exchanged to make a positive impact on the world.
